2026.10.29 — The Hope Princess Is Back

Thank you for waiting.
From here on, I will keep creating, steadily and a lot.
For a while I stepped away from creating — no cleaning up other things, no trips, no walks, nothing — just thinking. Today I decided to start again, so I am starting again.
Until now the creative concept behind the Hope Princess was shallow and not really settled. Recently it has become settled again, and much more deeply, so from now on I will be bringing it to life faithfully.
I really dislike using AI generation for anything other than programming, so I type every post on this blog myself, by hand.
I had also been answering people's worries and questions online, but I have put that on hold for now.
I had been serialising on other manga sites as well, but I am pausing those too and will serialise only here, on this website.
On X (Twitter) I won't post the real original artwork for a while, but I think I will post some lighter illustrations.
Since then, one more thing has been decided: the choir — that is, the composing department — and the art department that makes the manga are now two separate studios, and I have named them as follows.
I don't check the contact form very often. It is there, but if you would like to reach me, please send a direct message on X or another social network.
The choir (music composition department)
is called the Ambrogio Studio.
Manga production (the art department)
is called the Michelangelo Studio.
Thank you for your continued support.
At Comic Market I handed out zero copies — but only because I went home in the morning.
I had heard that a few people were planning to come. It wasn't exactly on purpose, but I thought that taking home the number zero would make a more interesting start for me, so I chose to leave.
I probably won't take part in Comic Market again, but I think my other activities will become more active instead. I plan to keep going, and to work even harder, as Christmas Fantasy and as the Hope Princess.
To everyone I have met so far, and to those who read a little of the manga and stopped: I will keep putting effort into this work, so I hope you will stay with it.
I will hold back from putting my works on YouTube and X. I don't want to turn my work into money — this is not a business — and once it goes on YouTube, people only look at the numbers and the view counts, and I don't like that.
From now on I will post as often as I can. Posts will be irregular, but I don't think the gaps will be long. I will keep posting.
I will make sure the quality does not drop, though. I draw the original artwork on very small sheets of paper, so it may look rough, like sketches — but that is the original artwork, so please forgive me.
As I announced before, I would like to hold something like a Hope Princess exhibition somewhere. Nothing is decided yet, but I wanted to let you know that it is planned.
Please enjoy the story of the Hope Princess from here on. My concept is to express Christmas within an Eastern world.
Why this? If you change Christmas inside a Western setting, it is just Christmas, isn't it? You can bring out the design or the atmosphere, but if Christmas can appear inside an Eastern world, I think that is something story or design alone cannot produce — it needs something beyond them. Forcing it would break the story and feel strange, but if it can truly be brought out and born there, I think that would be something remarkable.
That is why I deliberately use an Eastern world. Because I want Christmas to appear, I bring the world closer to things like demon gates and shrines. After that, for quite a while my posting slowed down; I wasn't exactly studying, but I was reading online and reading books.
Without really meaning to, I learned about many sad histories, many incidents, many troubles, and some philosophy too. Still, I don't want the story to become too difficult. From now on — not simply "happy" — but while contrasting hope and despair, I want to bring in peace and sharing like a bright sun. Above all, warmth like Christmas.
This time I want neither a sad ending nor simply a bright one, but to find meaning in a different way.
