2026.10.30 — How Bethlehem Began, and Thanks to Everyone I Have Met

Hello, and for some of you, it has been a while. Some of you may be thinking, “Him again?” Yes, it is me, Hoshino.
A lot happened, and I ended up with zero copies at Comic Market, but that was on purpose. I wrote about that in an earlier post, so I will leave it out this time and talk about other things.
The illustration in the thumbnail is one I drew just now, on the night of October 30, 2026.
Hmm, I did not have any particular image in mind when I started, but as I kept drawing it slowly became something with a Christmas feeling, an XmasFantasy kind of illustration.
To be honest, many of the illustrations on this website were drawn several years ago, and I have drawn very few in 2026. There are a few, but hardly any.
What I would like to ask of everyone is this: please look forward to what is coming.
I have disappointed many of the people I have met so far. That is because the website’s address, its URL, changed quite often. When it changes, people cannot find the site, and nobody can see it anymore. There were other troubles too, like accidentally leaving it set to private.
So to everyone I have met in many places: at shrines, churches and temples, on my travels, people from Italy, France and America, and from other countries too, from Africa and from Egypt: thank you, truly.
There were times when many people disliked me or turned against me, and times when I felt rather isolated. But now I am very happy. I have realized that what I am meant to do is not something to be measured in money or numbers, but something to be expressed in the form of love.
That is why it was good that I had zero copies at Comic Market. If I had wanted to sell, and turned it into money, even a single yen, it would no longer have been a work of love. So I went home before it could become that. Zero copies at Comic Market was the right answer. Everything I make will be open for everyone to see.
I will keep working hard on my creations. Thank you for your support. This was a post of an illustration of thanks to all of you, and a short report. Please keep watching over Princess of Hope XmasFantasy.
Bringing Christmas into an Eastern world is not an easy thing, but I believe it will be all right. Christmas has already appeared in the Western world, so to some extent it could be done by imitating those pictures. But what I want to do is not imitation. It does not yet exist in the East, in Asia, so it needed to be done.
This is a true church activity. It may look at first like subculture play or entertainment, but it should not be taken lightly. It is a true church activity. Nothing is sold, and it is nonprofit: a nonprofit organization.
We are a small group of a few dozen members, but we will keep creating.
Thank you all very much. With gratitude, Hoshino
