Momo Kamisakura

A shrine-maiden princess who serves at a shrine. Her parents come from a shrine family, but due to family circumstances she has always been treated as a part-timer there. She is a girl who cherishes, above all else, the faith in the gods handed down since ancient times and the world of Japanese mythology. Since she was little she has had a mysterious power to sense things that cannot be seen, and she can keenly perceive the feelings dwelling in people's hearts and the spiritual presences drifting around them. She spends her days listening to the worries and sufferings of the people who visit the shrine, serving as a bridge between the gods and humanity.
She is earnest and strong-willed, and doesn't like leaving things vague. She values “the heart” and “truth,” and rather than surface-level reputation or common sense, she trusts what she has confirmed with her own eyes and felt with her own heart. On the other hand, she has never quite gotten used to modern trends or the internet, and she is extremely wary of the information flying around online, of creepy things, and of things whose true nature is unknown. To her, the mysterious is never something to be treated half in jest; it is something to be faced with respect.
Though small in build, she is surprisingly full of drive, and when it counts she shows the bravery to grab a wooden sword and stand her ground. If necessary, she is even prepared to wield a real sword, hiding a willpower far stronger than you would ever guess from her usual gentle shrine-maiden appearance. She loves water, and her heart grows calm by quiet waterside spots and in pure places. She loves the shrine itself, sensing something sacred even in the trees of the grounds, the water, and the sound of the wind.
She sometimes feels fear toward spiritual beings, but even so, she doesn't just run away; she thinks about what she can do and tries to face them. Perhaps it is precisely because she feels scary things as scary that she can stay close to other people's fears and sufferings. She doesn't merely worship the gods; she also tries to understand the weakness and wavering of the human heart.
To the people who visit the shrine, she is a little odd, yet somehow reassuring. She doesn't think of herself as anyone special, but her strong spiritual sense, her understanding of the mysterious, and her unshakable convictions will eventually lead her toward a great destiny of her own. As a shrine-maiden princess standing on the border between gods and humans, between reality and mystery, she quietly keeps watch over the shrine again today. (P.S.
