Recent News: Visitors from Italy and Our New Website Design

Summary
Our website has begun publishing in Italian, and visitors have gradually started to arrive from cities such as Rome, Milan, Turin, and Florence. At the same time, we have renewed the website design with a simple layout that uses only white, black, and light blue. The Japanese and Italian editions are operated in parallel, and the same story may be read in either language. We thank you for your continued visits to our website.
Background
The Italian edition has only just been launched, and it is too early to speak of significant progress. The amount of content is still limited, and enriching it remains a task before us. Even so, knowing that there are people in a distant country encountering the works through their screens is a great encouragement as we continue our work. We hope that, little by little, the number of readers will grow.
Until now, our website combined a solemn color scheme reminiscent of a church or association with a pink-based design in the style of magical-girl stories. This choice reflected our wish to honor the atmosphere of the world of the works, but in practice the text was hard to read and it was difficult to tell where things could be found. We believe that, especially for those visiting for the first time from social media, the unfamiliar colors and abundant decoration created a barrier. It is a great pity when people who come with interest leave before reading the content.
We have therefore changed to a very simple layout that uses only white, black, and light blue. The design takes as its model screens such as those of pixiv and X (formerly Twitter), where information is laid out plainly. Our first concern was to make the site feel familiar, so that those who regularly use social media can read on without any sense of strangeness. We believe the site is now considerably easier to view than before.
Additional notes
On the production side, we plan to draw future work in black ink on analog manga manuscript paper. Time spent with paper and pen is, for those who create the works, a time of particular joy. While continuing to publish digitally, we will hold dear our starting point of drawing by hand. Our website still has room to grow, and we will improve it one step at a time. We ask for your continued support.
